Who is Richard Campbell?
Richard Campbell is the Vice Mayor of Lauderhill and City Commissioner, Seat 4. Born in St. Thomas Parish, Jamaica, he came to Lauderhill and built a career in public service and healthcare: a licensed Physical Therapist, CEO of RICHAB Physical Therapy, and 16-year president of the Caribbean Americas Soccer Association. Career. Before entering public office, Richard Campbell taught physical education and Spanish in Jamaica and served as a representative of the Northwestern Region Teachers Union. He moved to New York and worked as a social worker with the New York Department of Children and Families, then became a juvenile-justice counselor for the State of Florida. Public service. Richard Campbell was first elected to the Lauderhill City Commission, Seat 4, in 2018. He was re-elected in 2024, and his fellow Commissioners elected him Vice Mayor in November 2025.
